2012 Harley Davidson CVO Softail Review Picture and Specifications
2012 Harley-Davidson CVO Softail Review | Picture and Specifications - CVOs is particularly pricier than the standard model they are from, but when compared to many high-end, high priced cruisers of independent shops with low volume production, the CVOs offer some serious value. Trying to build something close to a piece of the CVO at a time will cause the cost of the total well beyond the MSRP of a CVO.

And in terms of value, what revs the engine most people are getting more than what is offered, especially when the deal nets you something on the order of two-to-one. Harley-Davidson CVO Softail $ 29,699 Conversion just like a two-to-one.
Model 2012 is the third year in a lineup for CVO Softail Conversion. When it first appeared in 2010, we find out how Harley can be cunning and practical. With a few twists and turns knobs and lock release motor is changed from the stripped-down cruiser Stylin for the purpose-driven touring bike with a quick-release windshield of his saddlebags and pillion passenger backrest.

How to Lift a Fallen Motorcycle
Picking up a motorcycle can be dangerous and cause serious injury if done incorrectly or under poor footing. A simple back injury could wreck your life! Always, always, always try to get help first—and remember, you dont want anybody else to get hurt, either. You need to think clearly, use common sense, and be in good physical condition. Keep your body and back straight, and lift only with your legs. Maintain control of the motorcycle and never twist your body while lifting. Check the motorcycle for damage prior to riding it again. The majority of picking up a motorcycle is mental: Work smarter, not harder. Motorcycles are heavy machines. Think about how you want to do it first—if you were going to lift a 300-pound refrigerator, would you just run up and grab it and start muscling it around, or would you plan your attack? What would you do if you were going to lift an 800-pound refrigerator?
The ideal situation for lifting a motorcycle would be:
1. Have the lifting technique demonstrated by a qualified professional.
2. Practice with a qualified professional.
3. Have the qualified professional evaluate and coach your lifting technique.
Step 1: Assess Yourself
Take a few minutes to calm down. Seeing your bike lying on its side can be a traumatic experience, but it happens to everyone at one time or another. Your bikes not going anywhere without you. Spend a few minutes asking yourself questions and talking yourself through it: are you hurt? Are you able to pick up your motorcycle in a normal situation? Do you want to pick up your motorcycle? Is it safe to pick up your motorcycle? Etc., etc. You have the rest of your life to pick up your bike; take a few minutes to relax and assess the situation. Its best if you get help. And remember: if someone helps you, dont forget to warn them not to touch the hot exhaust pipe, not to lift by the turn signals, etc. Also make sure they lift correctly. You dont want someone else getting hurt.
Step 2: Assess the Environment
If you are in danger from other traffic, get away from your motorcycle and seek a place of safety. Let law enforcement respond and take control of the scene before picking up your motorcycle. Take a look at the ground: do you have a solid surface to lift from? Is there gravel? Is the pavement wet? Are you right next to a ditch? You dont want to slip and get pinned under your bike.
Step 3: Assess the Motorcycle
Turn it off using the engine cut-off switch or the ignition switch. Turn off the fuel using the fuel supply valve. Spilled fuel is common, so use caution (though usually you need sparks, flame, or an ignition source to have a fire or explosion.) If the motorcycle is lying on its right side, put the sidestand down and put the motorcycle in gear. If the motorcycle is on its left side, you cant put the side stand down and cant put the motorcycle in gear. Make a mental note of these facts. You dont want to pick up your motorcycle and then immediately drop it onto its other side! Techniques to Lift the Motorcycle—Preferred and Regular Methods.
Technique I: Facing Away from the Motorcycle - For Large Motorcycles Preferred Method for any Size

1. Turn the handlebars to full-lock position with front of tire pointed downward.
2. Find the "balance point" of the two tires and the engine, engine guard, or footpeg. The motorcycle will be fairly easy to lift until it reaches this point because its resting on its side. Once you start lifting from there, you are responsible for the most of the weight of the bike.
3. "Sit" down with your butt/lower back against the motorcycle seat. Be very careful to keep your back straight and your head up. Put your feet solidly on the ground about 12 inches apart, with your knees bent slightly.
4. With one hand, grasp the handgrip (underhand, preferably), keeping your wrist straight.

5. With your other hand, grip the motorcycle framework (or any solid part of the motorcycle), being careful to avoid the hot exhaust pipe, turn signals, etc.
6. Lift with your legs by taking small steps backwards, pressing against the seat with your butt and keeping your back straight. On slippery or gravelly surfaces this technique probably wont work. On inclined surfaces this can be very dangerous.

7. Be careful not to lift the motorcycle up and then flip it onto its other side! If possible, put the sidestand down and the bike in gear.
8. Set the motorcycle on its sidestand and park it safely.
Technique II: Facing the Motorcycle - For Small and Medium-Sized Motorcycles Regular Method.

1. Turn the handlebars to the full-lock position with the front of the tire pointed skyward.

2. Find the balance point of the two tires and the engine, engine guard, or footpeg. The motorcycle will be fairly easy to lift until it reaches this point because its resting on its side. Once you start lifting from there, you are responsible for the most of the weight of the bike.
3. Stand very close to the handlebars. Plant your feet about shoulder-width apart with the lower handgrip in between them. Use both hands to lift. Keeping your back straight and your head up, lift carefully, keeping the handgrip close to your body. Use your leg muscles for power, and not your back muscles.
4. Be careful you dont lift the motorcycle up and then flip it onto its other side.
5. Set the motorcycle on its sidestand and park it safely.Monday, July 22, 2013

CBR250R ABS
Features Options
•249cc liquid-cooled single cylinder engine

•Combined Anti-lock brake system
2011 Honda CBR250R Features and Benefits
Light, Narrow, Low.
Because it’s a single-cylinder machine, the new CBR250R is narrow, and with its low 30.5-inch seat height and light 359-pound curb weight, putting your feet down in parking lots or at stoplights can be a lot easier.
The Power of One.
The new CBR250R uses a single-cylinder engine with fuel injection, double-overhead cams and a counterbalancer. Sure that’s tech talk, but the architecture offers some very real advantages. Maybe the most important is power delivery: a single offers the kind of torque and midrange power that’s well suited for all levels of riders.
Stop with Confidence.
The option of Honda’s Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) is a perfect matchup with a bike like the new CBR250R. ABS helps you cope with unanticipated challenges and stop with added confidence.
Engine/Drivetrain
The all-new 249 cc single-cylinder engine has been purpose-built for the CBR250RA, and boasts such high-performance features as dual overhead camshafts driven by a Hy-Vo-type silent chain, forked roller rocker arms, a compact four-valve cylinder head, a counterbalance shaft, and liquid cooling.
The light and compact engine contributes to the CBR250RAs nimble steering, intuitive handling and impressive power-to-weight ratio, which allows it to outperform twin-cylinder bikes of similar displacement.
Shim-style valve adjustment allows easy inspection and maintenance, although with a recommended inspection interval of 48,000 km, youll ride a long, long time between any needed adjustments.
The engine countershaft sits lower than the mainshaft in a "stacked" formation to further reduce the engines front-to-back dimensions.
Bore and stroke measurements are equivalent to those of the CBR1000RRAs high-performance engine.
The engine produces a remarkably broad torque curve for strong low-rpm performance, and peak horsepower kicks in at 8,500 rpm-well before the 10,500-rpm redline. This wide spread of power makes the CBR250RA easy and confidence-inspiring to ride, in both stop-and-go situations and on the highway, while also returning impressive fuel economy.*
The crankshaft runs in plain bearings for quieter operation and the big end of the connecting rod spins in a needle bearing, both contributing to the engines high-performance credentials.
A gear-driven counterbalance shaft helps quell engine vibration for enhanced rider comfort. Its located so close to the crankshaft that the balancer weight passes between the two crank weights to keep the engine as compact as possible while improving mass centralization.
Hondas Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) continuously monitors several variables to ensure the correct fuel mixture for the current riding and atmospheric conditions, thereby delivering optimal performance and remarkably crisp throttle response over a wide range of operating conditions, plus improved fuel economy.
The PGM-FI system incorporates an Idle Air Control Valve (IACV) to smooth responses to small changes in throttle position.
The CBR250RAs engine meets both EPA 49-state and Euro-3 emissions standards by incorporating the latest in exhaust and catalyzer technology. The tri-metal catalytic converter reduces the level of hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide and nitrous oxides, while an oxygen sensor in the exhaust enables the engines Electronic Control Unit to ensure complete combustion within the engine.
The six-speed transmission works in concert with the engines broad power delivery to produce quick acceleration plus excellent fuel economy during highway cruising.*
*Fuel economy results were obtained by Honda under standardized testing conditions prescribed by WMTC. Tests are conducted on a rolling road using a standard version of the vehicle with only one rider and no additional optional equipment. Actual fuel consumption may vary depending on how you ride, how you maintain your vehicle, weather, road conditions, tire pressure, installation of accessories, cargo, rider and passenger weight, and other factors.
Chassis/Suspension
Diamond-shaped twin-spar steel frame plus a 37 mm front fork and Pro-Link single-shock rear suspension provide impressive handling and a comfortable ride.
The CBR250RA is the only bike in its class to offer the benefits of ABS. The CBR250RAs Combined Braking System with ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) provides sure control on even difficult road surfaces.
Curb weight of only 165 kg (364 lb) gives the CBR250RA outstanding manoeuvrability and helps instill rider confidence.
Sporty ergonomics promote a balanced seating position for optimum control and long-distance comfort.
Full-sized 17-inch cast wheels with a 110/70 – 17 front tire and a 140/70 – 17 rear tire provide big-bike feel, grip and handling traits.
Additional Features
VFR1200-style full fairing with windscreen enhances aerodynamics while also deflecting the oncoming wind for excellent rider comfort.
Multi-function digital instrument panel includes speedometer, tachometer, engine temperature display, fuel gauge, clock, odometer and trip meter.
Fuel capacity of 13 litres gives the CBR250RA a cruising range of more than 320 kilometres.
An external fuel filter maximizes fuel tank capacity while also easing fuel filter maintenance.
Grab rails on the tail section are designed to fit gloved hands, giving passengers a dedicated handhold while riding two-up.
A handy underseat storage area adds to the CBR250RAs versatility.
2011 Honda CBR250R Technicals
The Honda Difference.
The new CBR250R offers the perfect balance of beginner-friendly features and the typical Honda refinement that more experienced riders will appreciate. Light weight, superb handling, excellent power and unmatched build quality and attention to detail—combine all that with Honda’s famous reliability and the new CBR250R is an instant winner.
Counterbalance Shaft - Because it features a counterbalancer, the CBR250R engine is a smooth runner. You get the narrow overall width and power advantages of a single along with the smoothness of a multi-cylinder bike.
Single-Cylinder Engine - A single is the perfect choice for a bike like the CBR250R. Its light, simple, returns excellent fuel economy, and features a broad powerband with plenty of low-revving torque–just what you want in a first motorcycle.
Fuel Injection - Fuel injection means the new CBR250R starts right up, even in cold weather. Compared to a carbureted bike, it also helps reduce emissions and enhance performance and fuel economy.
Layered Style Fairing - Take a close look at the CBR250Rs unique bodywork, which is designed for style and functionality. It routes airflow for both engine cooling and rider comfort, while creating a unique sportbike style.
Analog/Digital Instrumentation - The CBR250Rs digital gauges with analog tachometer provides vital riding information in a styled, hi-tech instrumentation package.
Combined Anti-lock Brake System - Our Combined ABS can be a big help in making controlled stops in less than ideal conditions. Like on wet pavement, or when theres sand on the road or other debris. Its a perfect choice whether youre using your new bike as a commuter or just riding it for fun since it helps you stop with added confidence.
Disc Brakes - The new CBR250R features front and rear hydraulic discs for excellent stopping power and brake feel. The single front disc helps keep things simple and lowers unsprung weight, too.
Pro-Link Rear Suspension - The CBR250R uses a single-shock pre-load adjustable rear suspension that not only gives you a smooth ride, but helps enhance handling as well, just as on some of our larger sport models.
Low Seat Height - A low 30.5" seat height does more than help make sure the CBR250R fits a wide range of riders. It makes it easier to put your feet down at stoplights and in parking lots–a big confidence builder.
Passenger Ready - A separate passenger seat, integrated grab rail, and standard passenger footpegs mean you can take a friend along when you go riding–another example of the CBR250Rs versatility.
Underseat Storage - Removing the rear passenger seat provides a lockable area to throw a map, gloves, or a spare set of sunglasses.

The all-new 2011 CBR250R brings a fresh take on the fun side of motorcycling, one that will appeal to a wide range of riders. Beginners and experienced hands alike will key in on the extreme versatility of this sporty, easy-to-ride and affordable new offering from Honda.

Thanks to its extremely efficient 249cc liquid-cooled single cylinder engine—an all-new design featuring a sophisticated four-valve DOHC cylinder head
, engine counterbalancer, PGM-FI fuel injection and more—this dependable and lightweight machine delivers nimble handling, a broad spread of easily accessible power and low operating costs all in one. Whether the day calls for a commute to work, quick trips around town or all-day explorations in the countryside, the CBR250R offers as much fun per mile as anything around, all at a price that just about anyone can afford.
If you’re looking for an affordable, smart, capable and fun way to enjoy life on two wheels—have we got a bike for you: the all-new Honda CBR250R!
The new, fuel-injected CBR250R offers everything you want in a first-time bike: Light weight. A powerband that’s immensely user-friendly. Excellent fuel economy. Unmatched reliability. And a fun factor that’s off the chart.
Since the new CBR250R is a Honda, it’s full of features few other bikes in its class can match. And it offers a build quality that means you’ve got dependable cross-town or cross-country transportation.
Best of all, the new CBR250R is available in two versions: the CBR250R and the CBR250R ABS with our Anti-lock Brake System – a first for the segment and a really valuable option that both first-timers and experienced riders will appreciate.
Its finally here! The bike Canadian riders have been clamouring for since the introduction of the wildly popular CBR125R has finally been unveiled to the world. And its a stunner. The all-new Honda CBR250R is far removed from the sort of cut-corners, parts-bin special often found in this class – its a true Honda sportbike loaded with sophisticated engineering and high-tech components. Check out the high-revving DOHC, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine with its impressive power-to-weight ratio, the sensuous VFR1200-style bodywork, and the sporty chassis. Its all top-shelf stuff. Sure, the CBR250Rs light weight, user-friendly operation and comfortable size make it perfect for novice riders or those stepping up from the CBR125R. But if experienced riders overlook the CBR250R because they think engine displacement is the sole measure of a motorcycles appeal, then theyll be missing out on a bike thats destined to redefine fun on two wheels.

2011 Harley Davidson FLHX Street Glide
The 2011 Harley-Davidson FLHX Street Glide® is a bagger with street-wise soul, such as stripped down trim and chrome, low suspension, and blackened, cropped wind deflector. Inspired by the street, the 2011 Harley-Davidson FLHX Street Glide® is ready to roar with attitude. The innovative Harley-Davidson® Touring chassis is based on a single-spar, rigid backbone frame and a stout swingarm developed to withstand the demands of long-haul touring riders and todays powerful engines.
Harley-Davidson Press Release
2010 HARLEY-DAVIDSON® STREET GLIDE® HAS FRESH HOT ROD STYLING
Slammed Bagger has New 18-Inch Front Wheel and 2-into-1 Exhaust
MILWAUKEE (July 25, 2009) - The Street Glide motorcycle, the original stripped-and-slammed bagger from Harley-Davidson, is updated for 2010 with a larger front wheel, slimmed-down exhaust, and a new tail light assembly. Street Glide takes a classic Harley-Davidson Touring profile to a low, light and lean extreme, with minimal trim and chrome, a fork-mounted fairing with clipped wind deflector, solo headlamp and integrated mirrors, and black slotted aluminum wheels. Inspired by the street, but still ready for the long road, Street Glide is a bagger with hot-rod soul.
New on Street Glide for 2010
An 18-inch Black Slotted Disc cast aluminum front wheel with machined highlights replaces the previous 17-inch front of the same style. Combined with a lower-profile, 130/70B18 tire, the new wheel updates the front-end styling.
The 2-into-1 exhaust feeds a single, four-inch-diameter chrome muffler located below the right saddlebag.
A fresh design for the tail light assembly joins a pair of red brake/tail/turn combination lamps with a sweeping chrome bracket that doubles as a visor over the low-mounted license plate. This design eliminates the separate tail/stop lamp. The 2010 Street Glide also retains the Tri-line LED lighting at the bottom edge of the rear fender.
The 6-speed Cruise Drive® transmission is fitted with a new helical-cut fifth gear for smooth operation.
Key Street Glide Features
The rear suspension is lowered by one inch, so the Street Glide model appears to hug the highway, a look that is reinforced by the "ground effects" trim at the bottom edge of the rear fender.
The signature Harley-Davidson "batwing" fork-mounted fairing has a smoked mini wind deflector. Mirrors are mounted to the fairing.
The deep FL front fender is free of trim.
The custom bucket seat has a perforated insert in the rider position.
GTX nylon hard saddlebags have color-matched latches.
Streamliner footboards, brake pedal and passenger pegs feature full chrome pans and three chrome bands inset in the rubber surface.
Inserts fill the spaces between the saddlebags and the rear fender.
The instrument display features silver-faced gauges.
Equipped with the 40-watt Advanced Audio System by Harman/Kardon.
Designed for the Low, Long Haul
The Street Glide bike is built on the innovative Touring chassis introduced by Harley-Davidson in 2009, based on a single-spar, rigid backbone frame developed to withstand the demands of long-haul touring riders and today’s more-powerful engines. The cast aluminum wheels were created using finite element analysis for maximal stiffness with minimal weight. The 180/65-16 Dunlop® D407 Multi-Tread rear tire designed specifically for the Harley-Davidson Touring chassis feature a harder center tread compound and softer shoulder compound to enhance handling and extend rear-tire tread life by 25 percent.
Air-adjustable rear shocks accommodate variable passenger and luggage loads. Chassis geometry and suspension calibration work with the dynamics of the frame to deliver a combination of comfort and handling from a touring motorcycle that’s equally at ease rolling down the Interstate or negotiating a tight parking situation.
The Twin Cam 96™ V-Twin engine features Harley-Davidson Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI) that delivers crisp response, easy starting cold or hot, and self-adjusts to changing elevation and atmospheric conditions. Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) unclutters the handlebar area and enables an easy upgrade to optional cruise control. The engine is rubber-mounted in the chassis, and mated to a 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission with a tall top gear for quiet, economical highway cruising. The exhaust system is designed to minimize heat exposure to the rider and passenger.
Harley-Davidson Motor Company, the only major U.S.-based motorcycle manufacturer, produces heavyweight motorcycles and a complete line of motorcycle parts, accessories and general merchandise. For more information, visit Harley-Davidsons Web site at www.harley-davidson.com.

Honda CD 70 is a 70 CC bike that is the first choice of every motorbike owner in Pakistan. Since Honda is an extremely reliable brand, leading the market with its products, there is no denying the reliability, durability and quality of the Honda CD 70. Being associated with the Honda name gives this bike the technology, quality and standard that every local man wants in their everyday bike routine.
Built with Japanese technology the bike has a single cylinder, 4 stroke engine, with 2 valves and OHC air cooling system, displacement of 72cm, and a compression ratio of 8:8:1. The bike has a transmission of continuous 4-speed mesh, and multiple wet plates clutch. Like all other bikes, the CD 70 is a kick-starter and comes with a 4-speed gearbox. Talking about fuel efficiency brings us to the efficient fuel system which comes with a carburetor, OHC fuel control and fuel capacity of 9 liters, with 1 liter of reserve storage. The fact that sets the Honda CD 70 apart from other bikes is the more mileage it can give in 1 liter of petrol. The non asbestos eco-friendly brakes of the bike not only keeps the environment cleaner but also makes sure that the bike isn’t prone to more accidents by giving more control to the owner over the bike, given its not too heavy weight.
This brings us to the exterior of the bike, which is a stunning black shine, with a new and improved design and pattern. The length of 1900mm, width of 760 mm and height of 995 mm, which makes the bike a perfect size in a weight of 82kg. The bike has a beautiful design with its comfortable seat and rear and amazing graphics. The Honda CD 70 has a frame of backbone type. All these features make it good looking, along with being efficient.
